BUILD

Construction is approached as a design-forward discipline. Our role is to translate intent into built form with precision and care, resolving complex details, maintaining continuity of performance, and protecting the clarity of the original vision through every phase of execution.

When engaged in pre-construction services, we work alongside the design team early in the process to support the development of the project. This collaboration focuses on constructability, sequencing, budget alignment, and the resolution of complex assemblies. Design decisions are informed by real-world execution and performance considerations long before construction begins.

We have the capability and experience to self-perform key scopes of work including framing, exterior cladding, finish carpentry, and flooring. Whether work is completed by our own team or by long-standing trade partners, all scopes are coordinated and overseen with the same level of rigor. Tolerances, sequencing, and the success of critical assemblies receive close attention from start to finish. Our shop in Bozeman supports this process through custom fabrication, mockups, and prefabrication, allowing challenging details to be developed and refined before they reach the site.

We collaborate with a close group of subcontractors whose relationships with our firm often extend back more than fifteen years. One of our long-standing key partners is a Bozeman-based fabricator specializing in architectural and structural steel. This continuity establishes shared standards, clear communication, and accountability. Passive House training at the principal level informs how we coordinate air and thermal control layers, resolve junctions, and sequence work to support long-term performance.

When working with architects, we see our role as stewards of design intent. We focus on disciplined coordination and execution that protects the integrity of the design vision, while delivering buildings that perform and endure.
